gfs — download a GitHub directory as a ZIP

ref: branch, tag, or full 40-character commit SHA (default: HEAD).
Use refs/heads/NAME or refs/tags/NAME to select an ambiguous name explicitly.
The tree/ form accepts URLs copied from GitHub, including branches with slashes.
A directory ZIP contains its files at the root; a repository ZIP has a REPO/ folder.
Public repositories only. Symlinks and submodule contents are excluded.
Limits: 100 MiB compressed snapshot, 512 MiB selected files, 65,535 files.
